I was given beta access to Star Wars: The Old Republic last week. Here’s some of my views from my limited experience with the beta.
moreWorld of Warcraft: Cataclysm came out last week. It took only 6 hours for Athene to level to 85 and grab the world first title. Here’s a video on how he did it.
For the rest of us, questing is a more viable option to level to 85.
Check out the new World of Warcraft Cataclysm Trailer. Blizzard will release the next expansion for Wow this December. I’ve preordered my collector’s edition copy from amazon.com already. If you plan on playing Wow when Cataclysm comes out, you should read up on all the changes for each class. There are 2 new playable races – the Goblins for the Horde, and the wolf-like Worgen for the Alliance. Then decide which one you want to level to 85 and play the end game content with. There’s a host of new high-level zones and adventures to discover, a new trade profession to master, and those with flying mounts will now be able to use them across all the game’s zones. Also Arenas will be taking a back seat to Battlegrounds (BG) and pvp play. Also check with your guild mates, friends, and arena partners before Cataclysm comes out to help you consider which character you will be focusing on. And if you have not leveled your character to level 80 yet, you have 2 months to do it!
