Blizzcon is an annual convention held by Blizzard Entertainment to celebrate their major franchises: Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo. If you are a gamer, you probably played or are still playing a few of Blizzard’s games. Their Starcraft 2 release this year has been on of the most successful – Blizzard claims it only took 24 hours to become the best-selling PC game of the year. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is scheduled to be released on December 7th, this year also. It looks to be a killer year for Blizzard and its fans.

Blizzard just knows how to make great games. I still have memories of their early smash hit games such as Rock n’ Roll racing and Diablo. Blizzcon 2010, kicks off on October 22 with Diablo 3 gameplay. There is alot of anticipation for the release of Diablo 3. Its been almost 10 years since they released Diablo 2 and Diablo fans are hoping Blizzard will announce the release date of Diablo 3 or at least an early beta. October 23, the second day, will feature a Diablo III Q & A segment and a party for lore-crazed fans: Diablo III: Crafting Sanctuary.

It’s fun and has lots to do such as maintaining and living of the land, looking after and tending to your animals, building your own home and eventually your own town and raising a family in the process.
There are obviously the odd obstacles lurking around such as snakes and bears which need to be removed from your land in order to keep crops and animals safe and you can rack up some nice rewards in doing so. You can shop at the market for food, equipment and new crops and you can visit your neighbours’ frontiers and help them with their animals and land for extra bonuses.
Level up doing your day to day chores and completing missions and invite friends and family to play with you for even more bonuses. I think this is a great little game and very addictive however it is important to add as many friends as possible in order to complete missions as you will not be able to progress through the game without the help of your friends.
